Executive of UWP Youth Arm Formed.

At a meeting held on May 21, 2010, the youth of the United Workers Party of the constituency came together to formalise their vibrant group. The youth of this party was energised at a previous meeting where they were given a pep talk by the campaign manager, Mr. Jimmy Haynes.
The executive elected comprises of: Ms. Sherina Edward - President, Ms. Trudy Popo - Vice President

Ms. Kimya desir - Secretary, Ms. Amanda John - Ass. Secretary, Mr. Jason Simon - Tresurer, Ass. Tresurer - Wendy Joseph, PRo - Curtley St.Ange.
Trustees: Charde Desir, Nyus alfred, and Bradley Desir.

The objectives of the Youth Arm are stated as:
1. To find problems challenging our youth
2. To increase youth grop popupation
3. To equip youth with the knowledge and skills for the work environment
4. To find waays to provide employment oppurtubnities for theyouths
5. To improve existing and build new existing facilities
6. to revitalise existing sporting clubs in the community
7. To form committee groups e.g. sports and planning

Presently the group is vigourously planning a boat-ride slated for June 26 or July 10, 2011.
Persons interested in the baot-ride are asked to contact The Constituency Office or call 459-9321 or any member of the executive.
Look out for a massive youth turn-out on Sunday.
