Future National Under-19 Cricketer Gets a Bat





















Prospective under-19 National player, Brante' Best of Debreuil was presented with a bat to assist him in his quest to be seclected on the national squad.
Presently trial matches are being held round the island so that the selectors can select a final squad in preparation for the up coming Windward Islands Under-19 tournament.
This top of the line bat was made available through the kind donation by Mr. Rufus Bousquet .
Inspite of his absence, Mr. Bousquet ,who is presently in Belize on Government busines made sure that Brante' recieved the bat on time for a trial match which was schedule for Micoud Yesterday March 15, 2009. In that match Brante' scored 22 not out and took i wicket for16 runs in 4 overs. Brante' is more of a medium pace bowler whose besst performance has been 5 wkts for 5 runs against choiseul secondary school while playing for Vieux fort Comprehensive School. He is only 16 years old with lots of potential. Choiseul may finally have someone on the West Indies team if Brante' continues in that vein.
Brante' was very thankful for the bat and showered praise and gratitude on Bousquet for this timely present.
In the coming days Hard Knocks Cricket Team of Morne Sion will be recieving a package of cricket gear.
Bousquet, uplifting the standard of Sports in his constituency.

I think that you are doing a good job by exposing Brante. Again bousquet is really living up to his reputation and I thinh that will serve his good in the future. Brante has alot of promise, and with good coaching and proper management he should get to higher grounds.
