It's Done! Residents of Lawee Derriere in Roblot can now walk in comfort. The two-lane drive-way was completed on Tuesday 17th November, 2009.
The residents of Lawee Derriere and by extension the people of Roblot want to extend their sincere gratitude to the Taiwanese Government and the District Representative for providing the finanance to construct this project.
Residents are now putting together a small committee to make plans for a grand opening of the drive-way. To name the drive-way they have decided to use the English version of the present name "Back Street Drive-way"
The residents are hoping to invite a contingency from the Taiwanese Embassy, the District Rep. government officials and the Choiseul Village Council for the opening ceremony slated for sometime this month or early December. The video at the bottom shows what is in stock for the grand opening.
