Bousquet has Second Townhall Meeting











The District Rep. in his continued effort to meet his constituents held his second Townhall meeting in the community of Raveneau on Wednesday November 26,2008. The meeting commenced 7:30 pm and was well attended by many persons from Raveneau, Boisden,Mongouge and Delcer. Very visible at the meeting were the persons of Jimmy Haynes, a key figure in these parts, Wally St. Juste, ex-vice president of the Constituency Branch and Mr Anison Hunte from Jetrine.










Mr. Bousquet unveiled his plans for the area: 1) A two-lane footpath to be commenced immediately in Raveneau. 2) The construction of the Boisden/Delcer road to be constructed in the new year, and 3) The renovation of the Mongouge Multi-purpose centre to a full fledge resourse centre to be started as soon as the plans are approved.








Mr Haynes welcomed the Rep's effort for having the meeting and assured the persons that the footpath should be completed by the festive season. Mr. St. Juste in his short contribution reassured the audience of Mr. Bousquet's interest in their welfare and asked them for their continued support.








In the question and answer session many persons in the audience questioned the Rep. about the state of the economy and especially the rising cost of food. In response the Rep. made note of the world crisis and promised that commodities may soon be lowered due to the drop in oil prices.








The meeting came to an end at about 9:00 pm after which Mr. Bousquet entertained private concerns from various individuals.
