The rubble wall which is presently being constructed in Roblot is moving along smoothly. Yesterday technicians from the Ministry of Communications and Works , Vieux-Fort branch were on site to inspect and approve the construction of the foundation.
The technicians were satisfied with the specs and ratio of mixture to be used and gave the go ahead to the contractor.
After the foundation was laid the specially skilled workers were on the move laying stone upon tone hoping to reach the required height.
The families just above the construction site are pleased with the amount of work done so far and as one succinctly put it, "I can now sleep at ease even if it rains heavily." These three families could not ask for a better Xmas gift than this.
