True to his word as expected, the Rep has approved another project - a rubble wall, to be constructed in the Roblot community. A few houses have been precariously pearched at the top of the road edge.
Recently a landslide occurred below these houses, exposing the occupants to further disaster. The community group took the matter up with Mr. Bousquet, who saw the urgency of the situation and approved the construction of a retaining wall to arrest any further land slippage, thus securing life and property.
Work commenced on the wall yesterday and the workers are in top gear. The project is to be constructed at an estimated cost of about $12,000.00.
